Zoe-perry
Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first television roles included two episodes as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in the ABC sitcom Roseanne which was played by her mom. But her parents would not let her perform until she was an adult, for fear of the negative effects that stress could have on their daughter. Perry she was shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began to perform at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry made her debut as an actress in New York after graduation, landing minor parts in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, the feeling of homelessness made Perry return to California and pursue a career as a stage actress. Perry was a part of the cast with her mother on stage in The Other Place at Broadway, back in 2013. Perry was in the show with their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, Perry had the role of a political thriller Scandal with her father. In the same year, her character was cast the younger character of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) on Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again portraying a younger character of her mom's role. The part was offered an audition to the actress, despite the fact that she was a cousin with the character.
