Lita Rossana Ford also known as Lita Ford, as she's popularly known as, was an American-born British guitarist and singer who led the women-only hard-rock group The Runaways during the late 1970s. It wasn't possible for The Runaways to become popular in America, but they gained a lot of popularity in other countries, especially Japan. Ford started a metal solo career when the group ended in 1979. Her debut album as a solo artist was 'Dancin' On the Edge which was followed by her record Out for Blood.
